The Last Quarter Moon occurs this morning at 6:33 AM EDT as the Sun in Virgo forms a square to the Moon in Gemini, pointing to a possible crisis of consciousness.

We’ve processed recent epiphanies and now begin to see what works for us–and what doesn’t–in preparation for next week’s New Moon eclipse when something new is born again.

It’s not ideal to start a significant project now, but it’s a fine time to finish details or tie up loose ends.

The Moon continues its transit of Gemini, stirring our need for mental engagement, until 8:30 PM EDT, when the Moon enters Cancer.

It’s hard to tame expectations later today, but the Cancer Moon is warm, comfortable, and protective, and we benefit from these traits.

The Moon is void from 6:46 PM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Saturn), until the Moon enters Cancer at 8:30 PM EDT.
