The Moon continues its transit of Leo until 9:12 PM EST, opposing Jupiter around midday, and it can be tempting to push our boundaries with our affections or creations. This is “borrow from the future” energy, and we should be careful not to commit to something for which we don’t yet have the resources.

However, we have grounding energy helping us out. The third and final perfection of a long-term transit, Saturn sextile Chiron, occurs today. This transit first occurred in February and returned in June. It’s been roughly following along the same timeline as the Saturn-Uranus square, helping to soften some of the square’s rough edges. It’s a time for feeling competent, effective, and secure.

This transit encourages us to express our unique qualities. We tend to go our own way without stirring up controversy by acting professionally and respectfully. There’s no need for show-boating with this aspect! It helps humble us, and with increased realism, we can pursue our goals with better chances of success. As the last in a set, it’s a good time to consolidate some of these lessons we’ve absorbed over the previous nine months.

The Moon’s move into Virgo tonight stirs the desire to get organized and busy.

The void Moon occurs from 11:24 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Jupiter), until the Moon enters Virgo at 9:12 PM EST.
