We may feel somewhat stuck on a mental plane today with Mercury aligning with the South Node of the Moon. The tendency is to overthink, overexplain, or overanalyze, which can be a form of procrastination or emotional avoidance.

Mercury also forms a semi-square to Venus, and we may be in two minds about a matter–decisions can be hard to come by under these influences. It’s not easy to concentrate or connect with our hearts, and we can be pretty sensitive to what we feel people mean in their communications. There can be minor but irritating disconnects as we either rationalize our feelings or emotionalize our observations. We are likely to be feeling sociable and a little indulgent, perhaps lacking concentration when it comes to work or run-of-the-mill tasks.

However, the Moon spends the day in dramatic, determined Leo, helping us find ways to enjoy ourselves.
