Mercury is in Pisces from January 31-February 18, and then from March 18-April 8.

Why so long and in two steps? Mercury spends more time in the sign of Pisces in 2027 and transits the sign in two steps due to its upcoming retrograde cycle (Mercury will be retrograde from February 9th to March 3rd, 2027).

When Mercury is in Pisces, our thinking processes are more visual, intuitive, and imaginative. We are especially attuned to the world of emotion, which colors both our thoughts and our communication style.

We guess well, express ourselves with imagery, and make decisions intuitively. We are more attracted to consciousness-raising information.

It’s not always easy to verbalize our impressions during this cycle. We don’t enjoy pinning down, labeling, or strictly defining things.
