Shortly into the day, the Moon enters Capricorn, and we seek to be more organized, responsible, and on top of things. However, the Last Quarter Moon occurs at 7:29 AM EDT, when the Capricorn Moon forms a square to the Aries Sun, and our sense of responsibility or the proper/mature path can conflict with our personal plans.

Now and until the New Moon/Solar Eclipse on the 29th, starting a significant project is not ideal. Instead, it’s time to finish details and tie up loose ends. We can certainly stress ourselves out with this energy, but we can also aim to channel the quarter Moon’s crisis-oriented energy into productivity.

Retrograde Venus aligns with the Sun, and both bodies form quintiles with Jupiter today. The alignment marks the middle of the Venus retrograde cycle and a new Sun-Venus cycle’s beginning. Relationship matters are in high focus, and they can feel fated, emphasizing issues and people of our past. We’re motivated to find some semblance of balance in our relationships and environment. We want to impress, charm, smooth over differences, and satisfy others with the Sun and Venus coming together.

Still, as a new cycle begins, we can be symbolically in the dark regarding our feelings or relationships. It’s a time for redefining what we want and need from our connections, relationships, communications, and material affairs or goals.

Energies today inspire cooperation in situations that call for it. We give one another the benefit of the doubt. It can feel good to put our faith in someone or something now.
