Mercury forms a square to Saturn this morning and a square to Neptune this evening. A problem, criticism, or misunderstanding can weigh heavily in the air. There can be information lags, criticism, or a lack of direction or instruction to manage. We could be preoccupied with serious or weighty issues, especially early today. There can be difficulties getting our message across or physically getting somewhere.

Temporarily, it’s challenging to trust our instincts. It may be best to seek the motivation to make changes rather than focus too heavily on flaws and limitations. Editing and improving make sense now, as we may encounter resistance if we push ahead.

We might deal with disapproval, and we should draw on patience. We might recognize some of our limits and adjust our speed accordingly – it’s a better time for maintenance than for moving forward, reinforcing the need to wait and see.

It can be challenging to follow or clearly communicate facts, directions, and instructions today. Perceptions may be distorted or overly idealistic, heavily influenced by wishful thinking and imagination. We may be dealing with deception or self-deception as the day advances, and it can be difficult to be discriminating. Our minds are open to many different possibilities and options, however.

A Venus-Pluto square complicates matters further. Our personal plans and ambitions can feel at odds, causing some tension. There can be obstacles to clear as we wrestle with our fears.

This transit can accentuate or stimulate our insecurities, bringing suspicions and jealousies to the surface. Jealous and possessive feelings are directly proportional to fear of losing something or someone. We can be worried about betrayal or being in the dark about a matter. Social interactions may be intense or could provoke intense feelings.

It can be exceedingly easy to trigger sensitive points, but what works us up can be very revealing to those on a self-discovery journey.

Later today, we move toward a Mars-Chiron trine that can help soften some of the harshness of these energies. We may have the opportunity to take the lead or to take action with matters that lead to healing, cleansing, or teaching. It’s a time to defend and help others, and we’re in great shape for cooperation and purposeful activity.

This transit opens us up to regeneration and repair. It becomes more straightforward to channel our energy constructively. We’re ready to stand up for others and feel vital, spirited, and positive. It’s a time of seeing the way around–or over–obstacles and hurdles.

Jupiter enters the sign of Cancer today, where it will transit for over a year–until June 30th, 2026. During this transit, we place more value on our homes, family, heritage, and traditions, as well as laying down roots, trusting our gut instincts, and seeking security.

We see opportunities to grow and succeed through emotional channels, expanding our own foundations, and building our families. We are more inclined to believe that emotional intelligence is the primary key to solving problems. Connecting intimately is especially valued.

The Moon is void from 8:07 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (an opposition to Uranus), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 10:56 AM EDT.
