This morning, Mars forms a semi-square with Neptune, which can temporarily muddy the waters and wind us. Seeing holes or losing some confidence in our desires or pursuits can be more of a symptom of the need for a bit of inspiration or a well-deserved break than a sign that our plans are lacking. Of course, if there are specific flaws such as lack of preparation or unrealistic expectations, adjustments may be necessary. Otherwise, we may need to rest or recuperate before pressing forward.

Saturn stations and turns retrograde today and will remain retrograde until November 15th. This station can temporarily magnify all things “Saturn,” bringing somewhat heavy energy to the day (and this surrounding week). We’re more likely to make errors until we adjust to the shift. While Saturn is retrograde, we review and question our responsibilities and commitments instead of dealing with them in the moment or proactively. There can be more than usual experiences of guilt and self-doubt as we internalize fears, but it is also an excellent chance to reassess our commitments.

A Mercury-Uranus sextile tonight encourages alternative approaches, new ideas, and scientific thinking. Intuition is strong, and insights are quick and exciting. Original, creative ideas and theories come naturally. This transit opens the door to new, innovative solutions, inspiring us to think outside the box.
