Mercury stations and turns direct today, ending its retrograde cycle that’s been with us since June 29th. This shift brings with it the potential for improved communication and decision-making.

Over the coming weeks, problems we may have encountered while Mercury was retrograde should start to improve. The answers we’ve been waiting for arrive, and plans or projects that have stalled might now resume.

However, energies that are hard to make sense of can flood our consciousness as the change takes place today, such that critical decision-making might be avoided for the time being, as our thinking can be temporarily skewed. It’s not yet a time of keen judgment, as we don’t have all the details. However, clarity is coming, and things are moving forward.

This morning, a Sun-Chiron square complicates energies further, as it suggests waning confidence levels. We may doubt our inner guide and face situations that test our vulnerabilities. Some indecision is possible.

This transit tends to stir up insecurity or uncertainty about our direction, convictions, or purpose. A dip in confidence or faith in our resolutions and principles can lead to following others’ leads, which can later be regrettable. Recognizing our feelings of vulnerability is essential now.
