The Sun enters Leo today, where it will transit until August 22nd. The Sun is proud, outgoing, and playful in its own sign–we want to enjoy and express ourselves during this cycle.

The Leo Sun is intensely individual, not content to be merely one of the team. This cycle is a time to shine, perform, and add a touch of color and drama to our lives. We are generous and grand in our gestures and attitudes. On the shadow side, we can also be self-centered and vain under this influence.

With today’s Uranus-Juno trine, we’re encouraged through our contacts and interactions with others, and we’re ready to cooperate while giving one another the respect and space they need. We’re open to new ways of making things work. We may be leveraging our ability to lead and inspire now. This can be a time of dynamic, positive group activities.

However, as the day advances, we approach a Venus-Saturn quincunx that can make it difficult to see our responsibilities to others clearly, leading to either under- or overestimation. It’s not an ideal time to make decisions about value, money, or relationship matters.
