Jupiter forms a trine to Neptune and opposition to Pluto today, and we’re seeking fulfillment through our charitability, compassion, and generosity of spirit. We’re drawn to drama and mysteries, but we’re especially craving a sense of awe at the beauty around and within us and a sense of connection. Our idealism is stirring.

But while we’re yearning for meaning and understanding, it’s difficult to align ourselves with a satisfying mission, or our mission can face obstacles, and we are challenged to see beyond our attachment to power. Faced with our wastefulness, we can see where change and reform are needed.

Jupiter’s opposition to Pluto brings intensity and conflict to our lives. We can be quite ambitious, feeling that if we set our sights high enough, we can achieve anything.

However, treading lightly, while it may not come naturally, is advised, as it is all too easy to stir up opposition. We should watch for a tendency to take on too many interests, activities, or desires. Exaggerating our importance or power, either to ourselves or others, should also be avoided. Something might challenge our belief system, prompting a major attitude change, or we might have to face narrow-mindedness in others (or in ourselves).

This can also be a time when we feel such enormous pressure to succeed or chase a desire/goal that we make mistakes and exercise poor judgment. Possible themes are exploitation, manipulation, fanaticism, obsession, opportunism, legal issues, hidden agendas, and ulterior motives.

If energies are channeled well, however, it can be a time to heal, reform, and improve. Trying to force our beliefs on others will only lead to frustration.

This can be a time of great expectations, when we’re thinking in big terms. We need to feel a strong sense of growth and improvement, as we have little tolerance for feeling boxed in at this time.

With a Jupiter-Uranus sextile tomorrow, we’re opening to the need for change. We can have unusual ideas and visions, and we’re seeking and finding illumination. The freedom to follow our intuition is vital to us. Reforming or updating how we express compassion, care for the underprivileged, and pursue our dreams or enjoy art can figure strongly now.
