The Sun aligns with the Moon’s South Node today, not long before it leaves the sign of Leo. We should be mindful of holding onto something that no longer supports our growth, simply because it’s comfortable or familiar.

There is a tendency to cling to old or familiar ways of doing things. If we’re looking for clarity, now’s a good time to look at areas of our lives we cling to too tightly, perhaps to our detriment. This may relate to fears of letting go of our desire to stand out to enjoy a sense of belonging.

The Sun enters Virgo tonight, where it will transit until September 22nd. Our focus shifts to the puzzle pieces–the details of our lives. It’s now time to take care of practical concerns.

Attending to the details of daily living can free us from the unnecessary stress that results from “collecting” odds and ends of unfinished business. It’s an ideal cycle to get organized, do detailed work, and improve connections and communications on the job. Rediscovering the joy of our work, services, chores, and routines can be our focus in the month ahead.
