The Moon spends the day in the sign of Leo. A New Moon occurred in Leo last night, and energy for new beginnings is with us now. Venus forms a trine to Chiron and heads toward a square to Uranus. We may be opening our hearts to one another as we see the beauty in our imperfections. We’re open to new ways of interacting. However, Venus in Leo seeks constancy and personal presence in its interactions and pleasures, while Uranus challenges this with its drive for freedom and independence. Circumstances now can seem to pit freedom versus intimacy or closeness. We may be acting on whims, or we might experience sudden, unusual attractions, likely because of our fears that we’ll lose our independence. Or, we can be frustrated by others’ seeming indifference when we’d prefer to go all in.

The Moon aligns with Mars today, pointing to some impulsiveness. This aspect awakens emotional desire and stimulates a sense of urgency.
