Significant partnerships and relationships can be a strong focus this year, dear Capricorn, with Jupiter moving through two sectors of your chart that rule relating and intimacy. You can enjoy opportunities to improve a close relationship or to enter into a new partnership. Others tend to be supportive of you, and much joy can be found with a special someone. Some of you could be entering profitable business partnerships.
May is especially strong for partnering, possibly with a friend, and for long-term goal setting. Group activities can be productive.
While this can be a pleasant time for close relationships, when Jupiter in your partnership sector opposes Pluto in your own sign in January and April, watch for an overbearing manner that makes a significant other feel restricted. This can also be a time when a partner could be restless or extravagant.
Otherwise, close relationships can be quite successful. If a relationship ends during this cycle, it’s likely a blessing in disguise. New ones tend to be happy. Negotiations with others tend to go well. Competition often works out in your favor in the end. Others tend to really like you and want to be around you.
More money could be put into the home and family this year, and good alignments in the last four months of the year (and into 2015) can bring support, loans, and investments in a home or living arrangements. Recently, something about living conditions, home life, or family may have been up in the air for many Capricorns – there can be some instability and indecision, or sudden circumstances that have left you feeling unsettled. While this influence continues this year and for a few more to come, in 2014, family tends to be more supportive and support is forthcoming.
From mid-July forward, Jupiter’s influence in your solar eighth house is strong for finances and intimacy. For some of you, a significant other’s income may increase, or you could be pooling resources leading to a greater sense of abundance. Your relationship with bankers, tax collectors, and financial advisors can be quite good during this period, making it an ideal time to borrow if necessary (within reason), take out a mortgage, settle debts, and settle taxes. It’s powerful for getting financial advice as well.
This is also a good time for intimate relationships, which can be taken to a new level. There can be new levels of intimacy experienced now, and great pleasure in being close to someone.
Capricorns are known for their connection with career and accomplishment, but in the first half of the year, you may be struggling with motivation levels as other areas of life draw you in and seem more important. However, there can be great benefit in getting to a point of balance. From March to mid-May, there can be backtracking and complications, as well as waning interest levels. This period is not good for new beginnings and major decisions. Avoid big career moves then. From mid-May to July, focus on smoothing things out in your career or with authority figures and parents. Home life can be a little wild in terms of schedules, and you may need to sort that out before you can focus better on your professional life or responsibilities to the outside world.
The retrograde of Venus in your sign until January 31st can be a time of questioning yourself, refining your image, and some introspection. It will be important to consciously work on bringing warmth to your presentation, as it might not be as natural at this time. Watch for over the top behavior in the last week of October and first three weeks of November. However, this can also be a time for taking a creative risk.
You could be re-examining long-term goals this year, and possibly some friendships or group associations. You are generally well-respected and regarded with friends and associates. For some, there can be a paring down in this area of life.
Areas where you might enjoy more success in 2014 include the healing professions, therapy, counseling, and real estate. Some of you could be sorting out working from home or a family business.
