Create and find your natal chart
Looking for your birth chart?
If you’ve created your natal chart here on Cafe Astrology in our free report site and saved it, you can find it here:
Cafe Astrology’s Free Reports – Main Hub
If you haven’t saved it, you can create your chart here.
You might instead be seeking my free natal chart report tool that doesn’t save your chart. You can use this tool to create your chart (and other charts) at any time: Cafe Astrology’s Natal Chart report.
This one speaks to the user (example, “your Moon is in Taurus”) instead of refers to the subject in the third person. It’s good for those who have read my interpretations and want to see them all together as they apply to their charts.
Please note that my tools linked above are entirely free. You will not be asked for payment of any kind if you stay on those pages.
You can also find powerful tools for creating your charts at AstroSeek and Astrodienst.
What does your chart say about you?
Your natal chart is based on your birth date, time, and place. It paints a picture of the positions of the planets and astrological points at the time of your birth.
Astrologers consider it an imprint of sorts: a person or endeavor born at a particular time and place carries these astrological positions and relationships with them through their life.
From this chart, you can find such things as your Sun sign (for example, your Sun is in Aries), Moon sign (for example, your Moon is in Gemini), and your Ascendant sign (for example, your Ascendant is in Cancer, also called a Rising sign). People often refer to these as the Big Three, reflecting their power and impact on your personality.
However, there are many more factors to interpret in the natal chart, not only the signs of the other planets and points, but also their house positions, conditions, and aspects, for example. It’s a lot, making it best to examine one or a few factors at a time.
As such, you can start with your natal chart report, read it as a whole, and then look at each interpretation more closely. You can also read your report bits at a time so that you can reflect on the individual interpretations.
Some positions are–or seem–contradictory, just as every individual or endeavor is complicated. Aim to keep an open mind as you explore your chart. Always keep in mind that astrological interpretations are exactly that–interpretations.
