Mercury moves into Scorpio today, and until November 10th, we seek truths in all things hidden or undercover. It’s a time to probe, investigate, observe, and focus. Looking for motivations-–the more deeply buried, the better–-satisfies an intellectual need. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations. Scorpio is exceptionally sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking tends to be one-track-minded and perhaps obsessive during this cycle.

Mercury forms a trine to Saturn, helping us ground and center our thoughts and communications. Conversations may be spare but instructive. It’s a good time for systematic thinking and a step-by-step approach to tasks and problems. This transit supports work with details. We’re cautious with our expectations or remind ourselves to keep things moderate.

Note that Mercury is just ahead of the Sun, and the Sun will follow suit tomorrow, entering the sign of Scorpio and then heading toward a trine to Saturn.

The Moon is void from 2:01 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a square to Mercury), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 2:07AM EDT–a very short VOC period.
