Mars in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus today, and the Taurus Moon hooks into this unstable energy via its conjunction with Uranus and opposition to Mars. As such, we’re more emotionally invested in our rebellions or frustrations.

Mars-Uranus inclines us to act on impulses or take risks, possibly in a short-sighted way. We tend to challenge situations that make us feel restricted or people if they seem to be trying to hold us back. Positively, this can be a time of increased courage to free ourselves from restrictive circumstances or push ourselves to break out of the routine and try new things. Confrontations may help clear the air. However, we should watch for accidents, faux-pas, and mistakes due to haste. Tempers can flare, and a tendency to take careless risks or jump into premature action is possible.

Also today, a minor longer-term aspect is exact: Jupiter semi-square Chiron. It’s the final of three (previously exact in April and August), and we’re now coming to the end of this theme. Under this influence, we crave meaning and understanding, but it can be challenging to align ourselves with a personal philosophy or belief system that truly reflects our core. Beliefs and ideas can lead us astray, or we might experience some form of crisis of faith. It is essential to look within and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than following something that doesn’t truly serve our purpose. New business endeavors may require a closer look before pushing forward.
