Mercury is in Taurus from April 10-29, 2022, and then later from May 22nd to June 13th, 2022.

The reason for Mercury returning to Taurus so soon after leaving it is Mercury’s upcoming retrograde cycle that lasts from May 10th to June 3rd. The retrograde begins in Gemini but dips back into Taurus.

When Mercury is in Taurus, our thinking is down to earth, solid, and grounded. Common sense reigns over more fanciful thinking.
