We are outgoing, competitive, and loving with the Moon in Leo until 5:34 PM EDT. This morning, the First Quarter Moon occurs, bringing with it a crisis theme as the Sun in Taurus forms a square with the Moon in Leo. This phase compels us to take action, to confront and overcome challenges. Shortly after, we become aware of how our actions affect those close to us, perhaps through trial and error.

The Virgo Moon from 5:34 PM forward encourages more attention to detail. Mercury enters Taurus today, where it will transit until June 3rd. Our thinking is down-to-earth, stable, and grounded during this cycle. Common sense reigns over fanciful thinking. We communicate more deliberately under this influence.

While Mercury is in Taurus, we gravitate to tried and true methods. Attention to one thing at a time can simplify our lives during this cycle, but we should watch for overly conservative, stubborn, or rigid thinking.
