The Moon ends its transit of Aquarius at 3:12 AM EST when it enters Pisces. The Moon is Balsamic, with a New Moon set to occur tomorrow.

Mercury stations and turns retrograde in the sign of Pisces today and will be retrograde until the 28th, and we might get our wires crossed today. Communication can be tricky, and it can be hard to focus on cold, hard facts as the shift occurs now. During the cycle itself, we grow more accustomed to the retrograde, and our thinking is turned inward as we review and reassess matters. There can be the need to do things a little differently, especially related to communicating, negotiating, buying and selling, listening, formal contracts, documents, travel, the mail, and shipping. It’s a time when being careless with money, our personal information, or paperwork can be costly, but it can also be a time for seeing some details we missed in recent days– we see matters from a new perspective. This period is best used for reorganizing and reflecting. We look at the world through different filters and can experience important revelations. Mercury retrograde periods can be times of heightened inner awareness, when meditation, journal-keeping, reworking old plans, and reviewing past work are favored. Minor breaks in the mechanical aspects of communication can reconnect us with other, possibly more meaningful means of communication.

As well today, the Sun forms a semi-square to Uranus, shortly before Uranus changes signs. We may want to shake things up, make changes, and break the routine now. However, we could also be tense if we’re faced with unexpected schedule changes or if we are not in touch with what it is we need to change. It’s better to keep things simple and avoid all-new endeavors today and tomorrow.
