We’re challenged to work with contrasting energies today with the Sun sextile Pluto and square Jupiter. As well, we’re heading towards a very practical and deliberate Mars-Saturn trine that is decidedly different energy than the extravagant square between the Sun and Jupiter. We can find ourselves quite ambitious and eager to expand, and while our ideas are big, we’re reminded of the limits of our capabilities and must adjust accordingly.

While the Sun’s square to Jupiter can stimulate much optimism and elevated moods, our state of mind is fragile as things are overblown or unrealistic. We can feel some discontent, and we may be seeking more meaning, growth, or change. Helping us to understand that bigger isn’t always better is the Mars-Saturn influence, exact tomorrow morning, which favors discipline, moderation, tradition, and realism.

While energies are big and on the heavy side, the Moon transits Gemini, reminding us to detach just enough to enjoy ourselves.
