Venus forms a semi-sextile to Jupiter, and finding a balance between what we want to do and what we think we should do is complex early today. We could feel torn between two drives, seeing-sawing between alternatives. It can be difficult to settle on a plan temporarily.

As well, the Sun forms a quincunx with Pluto this morning, and adjustments are necessary for us to grow and improve. We can feel a little disgruntled or tense until we discover the best way to make these changes. Fears of loss or jealousy could emerge. There may be a power shift or a setback that has us feeling temporarily out of sorts or powerless. There can be the realization that we need to let something go to further our psychological growth.

The Moon spends all day in Capricorn, and we strive for increased self-sufficiency. We’re incredibly goal-oriented and particularly aware of our responsibilities and performance. This Moon grounds us on the one hand and stimulates our ambitions on the other.

However, with a Mercury-Node square, the tendency is to overthink, overexplain, or overanalyze, which can work at cross purposes with what we’re striving to be, making decisions choppy. Misrepresentative communications can hinder growth, improvement, and direction. We could also be juggling too many tasks to our detriment.
