Mercury in Cancer is beginning to form similar aspects as those formed by Mars in the last few days. Today, Mercury forms a quintile to Uranus and aligns with the North Node. It’s heading toward a trine to Neptune, a quincunx to Jupiter, and an opposition to Saturn, all three of which are exact tomorrow morning. We’re looking for inspiration and meaning, but we’re also asked to tone things down and take care of details that we’ve overlooked in the process. We may face criticism or negative feedback which can frustrate us, but whether or not it’s meant to be constructive, chances are we can use at least some of it to improve our projects or methods.

Today’s Mercury-Uranus aspect inspires creative ways to approach technical matters. With the Mercury-Node alignment, learning, teaching, communicating, and connecting figure strongly. Valuable contacts can be made with people who share our intellectual interests or who introduce us to new ideas that help us to grow, improve, and expand. An approaching Jupiter-Neptune square further complicates the day’s energies–our outlook can be up and down. The Moon continues its transit of Scorpio until 5:03 AM EDT, after which the Moon is in Sagittarius.
