Venus forms a trine to Chiron and quincunx to Uranus today, and we may feel we must choose between closeness and freedom or we have a hard time combining the two. However, we may get an opportunity to heal our personal relationships, as we are especially open to learning from one another. We more easily see beauty in human weaknesses, and we’re less inclined to see fault or to concern ourselves with fault. It’s a strong time for building trust in relationships, and for seeing potential in one another despite some off timing.

A Solar Eclipse occurs in the sign of Capricorn today, and new beginnings or a fresh approach to our career, social standing, or attention to structure and organization are in order. This is a time for setting practical, attainable goals, making commitments, recognizing responsibilities, and nurturing our dreams with special attention to realism. Capricorn teaches us that knowing our limitations frees us to focus on what matters, where we are, who we are, and where we want to go. With the potent Capricorn energy of the Solar Eclipse, we have the chance to make essential changes in our lives that will benefit us well beyond this Moon cycle. This eclipse is the second in a set of Cancer-Capricorn eclipses, the first of which was a Solar Eclipse in Cancer last July.
