Mars forms a sextile to Jupiter this morning, and we are enthusiastic about making changes and improvements. We are more courageous and energetic than usual, and it can benefit us greatly if we direct this energy into worthwhile projects or causes. A spirit of gentle competition prevails as we seek to branch out and take on more challenges.

This influence inspires enterprise and confidence in taking action on our beliefs and convictions. We may be going to bat for the underdog.

The Sun forms its yearly alignment to Saturn today, however, which suggests the need to rein things in. It’s a time to work on a revised plan for creating order in our lives or on an old project that requires a new commitment. Emotional energy is not enough to fuel us for the time being. As such, we could feel drained on a physical level.

However, recommitting to goals, shouldering responsibilities, and carefully using our resources could feed our need for structure and order in our lives and get us back on track.
