The Moon leaves Aries early today–at 2:25 AM EDT–and enters Taurus. Mercury’s parallel to Mars lends spontaneous, forthright, and energetic elements to our communications and can stimulate lively thoughts and interactions.

However, a strong desire to feel at peace and stable motivates us with the Moon in Taurus, as stability and permanence satisfy a deep emotional need. Sticking with tradition is the likely route we take just now, simply because we are not feeling incredibly motivated to expand our horizons. We may have the desire to make purchases that, at least temporarily, satisfy a deep yearning to be free from want.
