The Astrology of Today – All Signs
Horoscope for All on Saturday, September 19, 2026
The Moon leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn shortly into the day, at 12:55 AM EDT.- The Capricorn Moon is earthy, practical, and wise. Today, we become more aware of our responsibilities.
- This morning, we can easily get distracted, but beyond that, our need for order and self-discipline can take over.
- Our judgment is sound, and practical matters are a stronger focus.
- With the Moon's sextile to Venus late morning, we're embracing ways to blend, balance, and cooperate with one another.
- Opportunities may arise to add personal or creative touches to our projects and pursuits.
- The Moon is void until it enters Capricorn today at 12:55 AM EDT.

Horoscope for All on Sunday, September 20, 2026
With today's Jupiter-Uranus quintile, we notice and appreciate the more unique elements of situations, people, and projects. This outer-planet transit brings these themes to the month.- Today, however, Venus forms a quincunx with Uranus, and there can be impulsive spending, peculiar attractions, fear of commitment, and issues around freedom vs. intimacy.
- We might question whether we need more excitement in our relationships or freedom from them, yet we don't feel confident enough to rock the boat. Taming rebelliousness makes sense now.
- As well, with today's Mars transits, confrontations can be messy, as we tend to assert ourselves defensively or explosively.
- We should make extra effort to respect and validate others when expressing what we need and want.

Jupiter forms a trine to Pallas today, and we can be especially helpful, ready to share words of wisdom. It’s a strong influence for big-picture planning and thinking.- Mercury hooks into this with its opposition to Pallas and sextile to Jupiter. In some ways, we may be pushing the limits on a mental level.
- While we should watch for overconfident judgments and talking over one another, we're gracious, alert, optimistic, and resourceful, seeking the positive side of situations and solutions to problems.
- We take a more philosophical approach to thinking and are open to learning.
- It's a time of new insights and cooperation.
- Our minds open, and we seek a positive focal point. Reaching a mutually beneficial agreement or arrangement is possible now.
- While the Moon’s opposition to Mars this morning can point to tension, distraction, and impatience if we’ve taken on too much, we’re generally in a good place to find wisdom in traditional methods.
- We're bringing structure to our lives and projects.
- The Moon is void from 10:32 AM EDT, with the Moon's last aspect before changing signs (a trine to the Sun), until the Moon enters Aquarius at 1:15 PM EDT.
The interpretations above summarize the highlights of the day’s astrology, and can include:
- Moon signs and/or aspects,
- Planetary ingresses (when planets or luminaries change signs),
- Planetary stations (whether the planet turns retrograde or direct after a period of retrograde), and
- Planetary aspects (star transits of the day–for example, if Venus is square Mars).
These daily summaries are for all signs. For example, if Mercury is retrograde, Mercury is retrograde for everyone. The summaries reveal the general tones and themes of a given day, depending on what’s going on in the sky.
However, these astrological events can affect people differently, depending on their birth positions or birth charts. Read your daily horoscopes to see how these influences might affect your Sun sign or Ascendant sign.

While the summaries on this page summarize the major influences and highlight changes or ingresses, this feature provides more details.
What are planetary ingresses?
Planets and luminaries travel through the zodiac signs, and ingresses are essentially when a planet enters a new sign (which also means it exits the previous sign). For example, the date and time when Mars leaves Aries and enters Taurus is the Mars ingress into Taurus.
What are planetary aspects?
Planets and luminaries connect by aspect, which is defined by the number of degrees in distance between two bodies. This happens in the birth chart, to the birth chart, and in the sky.
For example, a trine aspect occurs between Mercury and Mars when these two planets are 120 degrees apart. We consider a trine to be a harmonious connection, and, in this example, Mercury and Mars energies are combining in pleasant, supportive ways. If this transit occurs today, its interpretation will appear in the daily summary.
