While the Moon is in practical Capricorn and aligns with serious Saturn this morning, a Sun-Jupiter square influencing the first half of the day can stimulate impulsiveness. We should watch for trying to reach too far–overestimating our energy levels or the time we would need to invest in a commitment if we were to take it on. We may be glossing over potential problems, and judgment can be off as a result.

As the day advances, however, Mercury forms a trine to Pluto, and Mars and Saturn head toward a trine aspect–two strengthening aspects, particularly for work, health, and organization or practical affairs. We’re in good shape for more profound insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and focused attention. We seek out the hidden message now. It’s a good day for formulating strategies and making observations. We are especially good at solving problems and getting to the bottom line. We’re also paying more attention to traditional or tried and true methods and pacing ourselves. Being thorough in our efforts makes sense now.
