Sunday, NOVEMBER 15
The New Moon occurs shortly into the day at 12:07 AM EST in the sign of Scorpio, prompting the need for a fresh start. In the weeks ahead, we may be working on our self-mastery skills. It’s a fine time to pinpoint the things in our lives that make us feel out of control, such as addictions and debts, and work toward release from these emotional burdens.
We may have an opportunity to rid ourselves of excess “junk” in our lives, material or spiritual. We may be moved to dig deeper into the mysteries around us rather than remain content with the status quo. Taking the time to understand others’ motives can enrich our feelings of intimacy, forgiveness, and a sense of meaning. We might want to use this cycle to focus on developing one special project or relationship to help add purposefulness and depth to our lives.
It can also be a time to seek ways to release our fear of confrontations and heavy emotional situations. We’re discovering that although they may be uncomfortable, these situations can lead us toward psychological healing.
This New Moon harmonizes with Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto. We can quickly drum up support and motivation from within to accomplish our goals.
Still, Venus forms a square to Pluto and closes in on a square to Jupiter, and disruptions now may lead to a desire to explore motivations and understand meanings. We should take care not to blow our needs for approval, love, or more meaning in our lives out of proportion, and to overstate our feelings or qualifications as a result. We should watch for excess, making much more of a situation than is warranted, or attempting to attract others through exaggeration. These transits can accentuate or stimulate our insecurities, bringing suspicions and jealousies to the surface. Social interactions may be intense or could provoke intense feelings.
The Moon continues its transit of Scorpio until 10:47 AM EST when it enters spirited Sagittarius.
The void Moon occurs from 6:13 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Saturn), until the Moon enters Sagittarius at 10:47 AM EST.
