Friday, FEBRUARY 19
Competitive energy is with us today with squares between Venus and Mars and the lights. The First Quarter Moon occurs as the Sun in Pisces forms a square with the Moon in Gemini this afternoon. This can be a time of stress, clashing, and discord, but also of high energy, motivation, and growth. We become especially aware of obstacles to our goals.
Venus in Aquarius forms a square with Mars in Taurus today, and we can feel some tension or dissatisfaction. This transit can awaken many urges and desires, but most may only be whims or distractions. Disagreements are possible as differences and contrasts stand out more than usual. A passive or soft approach may irritate, but an aggressive approach can be grating, too–we seem to have poor timing. We can be temperamental and sensitive.
What we value and what we desire can be at odds. Ideally, discontent prompts creative improvements and changes. Be wary of making impulse purchases and relationship decisions under these conditions. There is an air of competitiveness under this influence, and it can be challenging or refreshing, or perhaps both!
The Moon continues its transit of Taurus until 11:04 AM EST, after which it transits Gemini.
The void Moon occurs from 2:28 AM EST, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a trine to Pluto), until the Moon enters Gemini at 11:04 AM EST.
