Virgo in 2010

Relationships play a big role in your life in 2010, dear Virgo. Your attitude towards casual love relationships continues to transform as you uncover your innermost needs and desires. As well, Jupiter will be traveling in your partnership sector much of the year, bringing fortuitous relationships into your life, and/or cleansing your life of toxic ones. Changes run deep this year.

Jupiter’s influence in your partnership sector suggests that many of you will be opening yourselves up to commitment and partnering, and deriving much pleasure and joy from a partnership. Although we consider Jupiter to be a largely happy influence, sometimes endings occur under its influence, but generally they are for the better good all around, or they lead to bigger and better things, if they do happen. Overall, committed partnerships fare better this year for you than casual relationships in 2010. New partners met now are likely to feel much like a breath of fresh air. Challenging relationships or challenges in relationships tend to be left behind for the most part during this cycle.

For many years, Uranus has been moving through your partnership sector, bringing change, experimentation, and perhaps instability and even upsets to your close relationships. For those of you born late in the sign of Virgo, more challenges and tests are in store for you in 2010. Those born September 20-22 will continue to feel the additional burdens and responsibilities they encountered in the second half of 2009, and are learning about taking more responsibility for themselves. Venus is retrograde this year from October 8-November 18, which affects all of us in general, mainly in the areas of love and finances. Virgo

2009 brings improved working conditions for most Virgos. Virgos born early in the sign (August 23-28) are enjoying more credibility this year. They are increasingly truer to themselves in their self-expression. Intense, fateful, and deep love affairs can develop for these early Virgos, or strengthening of current love ties. This is due to Pluto’s presence in early Capricorn–a fellow Earth sign–and its harmony with Virgo.

Virgos born September 8-22 are experiencing big changes this year. Saturn is conjuncting your Sun and Uranus is opposing it. The result is a real tug of war that can be expressed in a variety of ways. Increased responsibilities are likely. You could be taking yourself more seriously, and feeling a lot of pressure.
