what a coincidence! i have venus conjunct neptune in sagitarius but my capricorn sun is in the 7th house (of partnerships) so i really have the plodding on, never losing my idealised hope of a perfect relationship. This article describes me to a T except that money doesnt really slip through my fingers as described above. It's such a relief to read this article, so validating. Thx Annie.

My Venus conjunct Neptun in Sagittarius...I am mostly perfectly aware of what is going on, I just can´t or better to say don´t want to help it. I like the thrill, the pain, the love I feel. Your article describes it very well! I am just wondering wheter I will ever be able to have "normal" relationship. I hope my Sun in Capricorn in the fourth house will safe me.

I've just had a flash of insight regarding Neptune/Venus aspect. When transit Neptune square natal Neptune, one loses that rose tinted glasses meaning that the world is very real rather than deceived by all that glamour and I believe this is the time you could find someone special for you'd only see who they are. So those who are battling with Neptune-Venus aspects, have hope, you will have a window of opportunity time!

Wow the entire article resonated deeply with my personal approach, experiences, and struggle with romantic relationships. However, I do not have any Venus-Neptune aspects. Are there other astrological aspects that would create a similar affect? I have plenty of squares to my venus, including: Moon, Pluto, Saturn, and Mars. Thank you Annie!

I have Venus sextile Neptune and Mars conjunct Neptune natally. Your article summed up quite a bit about my addiction to romantic drama. I have a strong tendency to stir the pot when things are peaceful for too long of a period. I have always had a yen for the macho type with a touch of bad boy as well. I have on many occasions found myself in the midst of a potential triangle. I have never acted upon the opportunity but I enjoy the excitement derived from the complexities involved.

The quest for the challenge has caused me to pass on many very nice men in my life. At least now I have a clue as to why.
Thank you Annie!

I have Venus quincunx Neptune and just came out of a relationship with a man with Mars (in Taurus) opposing Neptune! I nearly fell out of my chair when I read what you wrote. One of the things he said to me is that a relationship (with a woman) only feels 'right' for him in a way that makes him want to run out under a bus to save his child. That was a clear sign to get out - not only because I didn't make him feel insanely sacrifical (he has a Pisces Moon opposite Pluto also), but because he is mixing metaphors, individuals and responsibilities.

No amount of my Venus-Neptune fog (in an uncomfortable quincunx at that) could have made that work.

Thanks, Annie, for the insight.
