October 2009 ErosScopes – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo

Aries

Partnerships and close relationships are a strong theme for the month of October, dear Aries. A Full Moon in your sign on the 4th brings heightened emotions. While you are wearing your heart on your sleeve and personal needs are highlighted at this time, overall, the emphasis is on “us” rather than “me” this month. Until the 23rd, the Sun puts a spotlight on your partnership sector, and your pride and ego are very much wrapped up in meaningful relationships. You have a greater need than usual to be with a partner and can better understand yourself through your interactions. A partner provides a mirror for discoveries about yourself, and you may be involved with strong personalities just now. Your reactions to others are in the spotlight–what others stir in you are truly learning experiences now. Others are seeking out your support and companionship. Your own ability to harmonize and cooperate with others helps you to improve, or attract, partnerships. When Mars enters your romance sector on the 16th, romantic impulses step up and you’re more than willing to take the lead. Just two days before, Venus enters your partnership sector, and you have both charm and eagerness going for you–very hard to resist! It’s an exciting time for romance. You are looking for variety and unusual experiences sexually this month. At the end of the month, Saturn enters Libra, your opposing sign, and this ingress marks the start of a significant new cycle that will involve a complete review of your partnerships. Taurus

You start the month with a playful attitude towards love and romance, dear Taurus. Troublesome romantic matters are cleared up, and a new sense of purpose, or at least a new plan or resolution, is in place by the 12-13. Some form of coming together, being “on the same page”, or sense of renewal occurs at this time. Gemini

For the most part, you’re entering a more playful and romantic period this month, dear Gemini. Certainly, your mind is focused on how you have fun, express yourself creatively, and enjoy romance. September was likely a time of some withdrawal and cocooning, and October brings a more liberated energy to your life. Nevertheless, you’re entering a long-term cycle in which casual love affairs are more demanding of your time and energy, and the question of whether to become more serious or to let go is likely building. Getting serious about not-very-serious relationships can be part of the picture! No decisions need be made just yet. In fact, this cycle is just beginning. It’s a more stabilizing energy than you have been feeling of late, and needn’t be feared. Some of you may experience new or more responsibilities with children, some may be turning hobbies into businesses, and others might be strengthening or building a romantic relationship with Saturn in your solar fifth house for a couple years. Cancer

Healthy confidence and energy are with you at the beginning of the month, and particularly around the 4th. Work matters are strongly in focus this month, and so are all matters surrounding your home and family. It’s a time for really getting to the heart of your relationships with family, your feelings about your home, and all that makes you feel solid, supported, and secure. On the 16th, Mars leaves your sign, and you begin to wind down after some perhaps whirlwind experiences. Mars in your sign is helpful in many ways, as it affords you more confidence and energy to get moving on personal projects or simply to assert your needs. However, it can also keep you so much on your toes that it’s hard to catch your breath. October is a good time for catching your breath, and slowing down a little. By the last week of the month, your romantic impulses are stimulated and you might find you’re receiving invitations to get out and about. The 9-12 is a good period for romantic relationships and/or creative projects. Watch for stress affecting your relations with others on the 28-31, and chances are good you can do some solid healing work with a significant other. Fiery, energetic Mars enters your sign on the 16th. Mars will be spending more time than usual in Leo this cycle because starting in December, Mars will retrograde and continue its apparent backward motion into the New Year. Pay special attention to the activities and themes occurring now as you break out of your shell and take on new challenges and new projects. These will likely be revisited in the New Year! Virgo
