ErosScopes: March 2010 Love Horoscopes for Aries to Virgo

Horoscopes for the month ahead, with a focus on love, sex, romance, and style.
Eros was the god of erotic love. The position of the asteroid Eros in our charts points to our passion and erotic turn-ons. Mars shows us the style in which we go after what we want, including the ways in which we express our sexuality. Venus shows us some of the important “trappings” and foreplay that help us get in the mood for sex. The Moon shows our underlying emotional needs that can express themselves as sexual fantasies and needs.
While the positions of these planets and cosmic bodies in our natal charts remain static, their positions are always changing in the cosmos, activating houses and hotspots in our natal charts. The horoscopes presented here are necessarily general, as we are focusing on only the Sun sign or Ascendant, and how these sexual cosmic bodies are currently affecting the natal chart.
Please note: These horoscopes are more accurate for the Ascendant sign, so if you know it, read them for the sign of your Ascendant first, and the sign of your Sun second.
Also, sometimes I have more to say for some signs, simply because more astrological activity is taking place that is related to relationships for that sign this month (or because I am digressing!). This does not mean I am biased towards any particular sign.
March 2010 ErosScopes – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo
Aries
Good news for Aries this month! Venus enters your sign on the 7th and quickly trines a stationing Mars, representing a turnaround, slow but sure, of your romantic confidence. After months of retrograde activity, Mars, your fiery ruler, turns direct on the 10th. This turnaround doesn’t spell the immediate resolution of problems you may have been experiencing recently, but it does mean that in the coming weeks, you will be regaining your confidence and enthusiasm. Decisions are easier to make (and they have likely been agonizingly challenging recently), and you truly get a feeling that your life is moving forward. While Venus, Mercury, and the Sun all get their turn to harmonize with Mars this month, helping to give you more clarity (something that has been elusive of late!), Saturn does oppose them all. Saturn reminds you of either your responsibilities to a partner or to a relationship, or of a deep need for a safe, secure, and long-lasting connection. As such, there are some starts and stops. All in all, however, Saturn is your friend this month, with its sextile to your ruler, Mars. Pluto also is there to square all three bodies, and this is another reminder that it’s not quite “all systems go” yet. This doesn’t matter much..overall it’s an improvement and while you still have to exercise a lot of patience these days, you are also becoming clearer in your love life. Soon you will be pursuing romance with tremendous confidence and directness with Mars moving forward in your romance and pleasure sector, your solar fifth house. The fifth house is also a sector of your chart that rules creative self-expression, and Mars moving through it brings confidence and oomph, and perhaps a sense of urgency, to the manner in which you express yourself. You may have felt that you were only going through the motions in your romantic life, and that feeling is beginning to lift. Mercury enters your sign on the 17th, and the Sun follows suit on the 20th, indicating that you are certainly finding your voice and your chance to shine in the latter part of the month. You are building towards a rather exciting and action-packed spring and summer. Decisions are coming to you more clearly, plans are straightening out, and your romantic life is less confused. You know your position. Better days for love are the 7-8, 20-21, and 30; more challenging ones are likely on the 5th and 17th.
Taurus
Friendships are especially dear to you this month, dear Taurus. You are meeting new people and enjoying making contact. For some of you, your romantic life could involve some sacrifices from the 7th forward, and especially after the 17th. Others are keeping your love life secret just for the time being and enjoying your privacy. This is due to Venus moving into your privacy sector, and Mercury, your romance sector ruler, following suit on the 17th. This can mean delicious tangles, secrets, and willingly taking the back seat to a lover’s needs for some of you. However, it can also point to a re-evaluation of your romantic life, frustration at the inability to express your affections openly, or wistful longing for love for some of you, especially probable on the 9th and 11th, when Venus, your ruler, opposes Saturn and squares Pluto from the 12th house. For some of you, a feeling of paying off debts or matters coming full circle could be part of the picture. Venus will enter Taurus on the last day of March and will stay in your sign most of April, so you will get plenty of time for romance and attraction. In the meantime, lay low and enjoy the quiet. The practice of unselfish love, as well as showing affection and attention without expectation of reward and being supportive are the best ways to enhance your love life for the time being. Home life, on the other hand, is becoming more and more straightforward. In the next few months you will be pouring a lot of energy into your home and family, seeing to it that any complicated or confusing matters on the domestic scene are straightened out. Eros, the god of erotic love, is in your sign until March 25th, and this position boosts your desire and appeal, and can point to more sexual activity or opportunities. Better days for love overall are likely to be March 4-5, 7th, 10th, and 30th; while more challenging days could be the 1st, 9th, 11th, 17th, 20th, and 24th.
Gemini
As Venus, Mercury, and the Sun move into your friendship sector one by one this month, dear Gemini, less attention to protocol and more focus on camaraderie in your love life are likely. While responsibility has been especially important to you in your love life of late, you are in a more cooperative mood, attracting easy energy to you as a result. Tit for tat is not the game you are playing in March. Relating to a lover on the level of friends is what you are aiming for, and you have an attitude that all will even out in the end. Good news from a lover, or an enlightening conversation with a loved one, may occur around the 7-8. It’s also a good time for enhancing or attracting a partner, as you are far more likely to see eye to eye then. Especially strong healing energy is available for close partnerships this month, peaking on the 27-29. A partner is especially open and willing, or simply enjoying a brighter outlook on matters. In general, people in your life are becoming more accommodating, especially from the 10th forward. You are ironing out your differences with those who may not have been on the same page as you recently. Wonderful conversations with friends and lovers this month help to lift your spirits. A Full Moon in your romance sector on the 29th brings perhaps surprising illumination to your love life. Saturn has recently entered your fifth house, perhaps putting some pressure on romantic relationships, but is taking a breather as this responsible planet backs up and heads out of this sector of your chart for a few months. Stronger days for love occur on March 7th and 30th. March 17th and 24th could bring minor annoyances to your love life.
Cancer
An ongoing battle between Saturn and Pluto is largely responsible for tangles and confusion in your love life in the first half of 2010. These planets are not only in a challenging angle to your Sun, particularly for those who are born early in the sign of Cancer, they rule the romance and partnership sectors in your solar chart. Some of you are struggling to define or re-define your relationships this year. Some are wondering whether a casual relationship has long-term potential, and some of you may be questioning whether a partnership truly allows you to express yourself creatively, or if it’s providing you with enough fun and romance to keep you feeling valued and appreciated. In the first weeks of March, however, this ongoing struggle tends to take a backseat. Venus and Jupiter in Pisces, a very compatible sign for you, help to keep your mind off your troubles and on having fun. The desire to share new and different experiences with a lover is strong now. As Venus, Mercury, and the Sun move into the sign of Aries on the 7th, 17th, and 20th, your focus moves to your professional and personal responsibilities. Career matters grab hold of your attention. The best ways to enhance love now involve sharing goals, structuring your relationship, doing things that make you feel secure together, and showing your more responsible side. Stronger days for love are March 7th, 22nd, and 30th. Challenging days for romance are more likely on March 9th, 11th, 17th, and 31st.
Leo
On the 10th of March, Mars turns direct after months of retrograde activity in your sign. Mars has been spending an unusual amount of time in your sign, and will continue to do so until June. However, much of that time so far, Mars has been retrograde, and you’ve been re-assessing your life and the manner in which you go about getting you want. Others may have found you a little distant and lacking in enthusiasm. Some of you may have felt that your life has been “on hold” to some degree recently. While Mars’ turnaround on the 10th isn’t an immediate fix, you will find that over the coming weeks, you will be regaining your enthusiasm and confidence, going after what and who you want with fervor. You are figuring out what it is you want, personal plans are beginning to move forward, and your decision-making ability is getting back on track. It’s easier to find support from others this month, and for some of you to obtain or manage loans, particularly from the 14-16, when you are pleasantly surprised by the help you receive. The people in your life are generous with their time and energy, and their happiness ricochets back to you. Venus, Mercury, and the Sun move into fellow Fire sign Aries on the 7th, 17th, and 20th, and this helps to ignite a passion for exploration, adventure, and learning in your life. Sharing and comparing your spiritual, religious, or philosophical interests with a lover may open up a whole new dimension of your relationship. Better days for love are March 3rd and 30th.
Virgo
The month of March begins with several planets in your opposing sign, Pisces, and this points to a tremendous focus on one-to-one relating for you, dear Virgo. Whether it’s about reconciliation, fixing problems, enhancing a partnership, or attracting a new relationship, the cosmos are lending a helping hand right now. The 14-17 brings pleasant surprises in love, and a sense of a new beginning in a close partnership. It’s a good time to make resolutions when it comes to partnering. You are being given a chance to start fresh, and it will be a good idea to use this energy positively. Complications in your intimate life or with shared finances start to disappear this month, and you are beginning to see some real progress. While March is not the most energetic period of the year for you, many of you will be feeling revitalized through the support and generosity of others. Venus, Mercury, and the Sun move into the sign of Aries on the 7th, 17th, and 20th respectively, and intimate and sharing matters begin to grab more of your attention. Deeper expressions of love and intimacy and non-superficial expressions of affection are most important to you now. Be careful not to let a “tit for tat” or a suspicious attitude reign now. Better days for love are likely on March 5th, 7th, 22nd, and 29-30. Potentially more challenging days for love occur on March 9th, 17-18, 23-24, and 31st.
