Aries

The big news this month is Venus turning retrograde on March 6th (until April 17th), which means matters surrounding love and relationships tend to be slow-moving, introspective, and cautious. This applies for everyone, but since Venus is in your sign, dear Aries, this Venus retrograde cycle is likely to impact you more directly. You are more careful about your love life, drawing back perhaps, and certainly reviewing your love attachments. Some of you may end a romance; others might turn to a past lover for comfort. Many of you will simply take a step back and re-assess your needs in love relationships. Revisiting old problems in love is likely. Use restraint when it comes to handling love matters. With Venus in your sign, you are in need of romantic attention, and a partner is certainly on your side. However, you could be giving off mixed signals, and this can be the source of complications or misunderstandings. The New Moon in your sign on the 26th feeds you with fresh energy and the urge to start anew. The 7-8 is strong for magical experiences through friends, but watch for romantic tension on the 9th. Better days for love in March are the 10-13 and 27th. Remember, this is a month for reflection rather than taking new action.

Taurus

From all appearances, your life is busy, productive, and socially active this month, dear Taurus. Nevertheless, your sign’s ruler, lovely Venus, is retrograde from March 6th (until April 17th). Even in the week preceding its retrograde, Taureans tend to become more introspective, less companionable, and more cautious with expressing their feelings. Others very close to you could find you distant and hard to reach during this cycle. Venus in your twelfth house implies turning to the past, dealing with karma in love, and some self-sacrifice this month. It could be that a lover’s needs are greater than usual, and your needs and desires in love need to take a back seat. Gemini

Your romantic life, dear Gemini, may hit a period of lull or retrospection while Venus, the ruler of your romance sector, is retrograde from March 6-April 17.  Some of you may be reminiscing about, or in contact with, someone from the past which interferes with the present! Much focus this month is on your career and professional life, although you start out the month with a real sense of adventure and need for fun. Friendships are a little on the unusual side in March. For some of you, it can be hard to know if a friend is more than a friend, or a lover is actually not more than a friend. Try not to come to dramatic conclusions about your love life just now. All of us are experiencing some slowdown in the love and relationship department. The best days for love this month occur on the 9-12, when a partnership can be enhanced. Watch for tensions in love on the 20-24. Some relationship “tests” are possible now. Cancer

The retrograde of Venus from March 6-April 17 is likely to affect everyone’s personal life in some way, but not so much for you, dear Cancer. This is because Venus is not connected to romantic hotspots in your solar chart, and its position by sign at the time of the retrograde is also not love-oriented. Still, overall March is a time for slowing down in love and keeping things simple. You are emotionally and physically potent on a sexual level in the first half of the month, but also given to some suspiciousness. The second half of March finds you more adventurous and outgoing…possibly even happy go lucky. This month, you are more intense in your passions and attracted to people who can fulfill your deeper emotional and physical needs in love. The Full Moon on the 10th may be on the tricky side, affecting a close partner, who is especially emotional at this time. Stronger days for love occur on the 18-19, although you should watch for verbal disagreements or misunderstandings at that time. Trickier days for love in March occur on the 8-9, 23-24 and 27th.

Leo

Like last month, your major focus is on others in March, dear Leo, rather than on your own personal projects and endeavors. The cosmos are urging you to attend to your relationships with special people again this month, but this time around the focus is on intimacy more than the outer or more superficial aspects of partnering. A close partner could seem a little mysterious or even elusive these days, but this only serves to intrigue you more. It’s a good month for deepening a connection, but prepare yourself for some communication snafus. Some surprising events surrounding shared  intimate matters, are likely around the 12-13 and 21-23. The 12-13 also brings an exciting connection with a lover. The 9-13, in fact, is your best period in March for love matters. The lines of communication open up beautifully with a partner on the 21-23. The retrograde of Venus this month affects us all, and points to a slowing down in the love department. Virgo

Venus continues to travel through your intimacy sector this month, dear Virgo, and suggests a period of increased attraction to the more intricate and perhaps complicated aspects of intimacy. It can become tricky from March 6-April 17, during Venus’ backward march. What you’ll need to avoid is a tendency to hold on too tightly to someone out of fear. Suspicious attitudes can also be damaging now. However, March in general is strong for partnering matters. The demands of a partner are certainly stronger than usual just now, but you are more than willing to accommodate. From March 15-April 22, Mars activates your partnership sector, and while this can bring excitement to relationships, you could also be dealing with some suspiciousness and possibly angry scenarios. Because Venus is retrograde for much of this period, be cautious with how you handle your close personal relationships. But, you have all the tools necessary to handle matters expertly, with your planetary ruler, Mercury, in your charming seventh much of the month. Talking things out works well for you. Watch for relationship surprises on the 12-13 and 21-23, and these can be pleasant ones! They need not be unsettling.

Libra

The big news this month is the retrograde of Venus, beginning March 6th and lasting until April 17th. Venus is your planetary ruler, and thus you are especially sensitive to its vibrations. During this cycle, your love life may seem to slow down or you could even feel like you are stepping backwards. It’s a period of review rather than a time to make big decisions about love. Your intentions can easily be misunderstood now. From March 9-May 8, Eros is in your romance sector, and your erotic impulses (as well as powers of attraction) run high. However, while Venus is retrograde from March 6-April 17, love can be a little tricky. Romances entered into during the Venus retrograde period may be second-guessed later. A close partner may be distant or hard to read. Some disconnects in the love department are likely. These will clear up mid-April. For now, try not to push matters (or others). Give them space, and give yourself space as well. Take your time. Scorpio

Venus is retrograde from March 6-April 17, dear Scorpio, giving us a reprieve and some time to reflect on our values when it comes to our close relationships. Since Venus rules your partnership sector, this retrograde cycle affects you more than many signs. Those  of you who are married or in a committed partnership shouldn’t make any serious decisions during this cycle. It’s a period when you or a partner is reviewing the relationship, or your attitudes towards it. You might find that a partner is not as responsive or enthusiastic during this time. It’s better to just back off and let things happen naturally instead of pushing matters. Nevertheless, in March you are in a more playful and fun frame of mind. Aquarius

You’re coming out of a power month, dear Aquarius, although you continue to feel an extra shot of adrenaline until mid-March. Pisces

March is a power month for you, dear Pisces. All eyes are on you, and you deserve it! Most of us are experiencing some lags in romance and relationships, however, and this is due to a retrograde of Venus. However, your personal interests are taking priority this month, and keeping you very busy. A partner has your wants and needs in mind much of the month, so while it’s not the best time for starting a new romance, it’s a strong period for getting your needs addressed. Your responsibilities to a special someone are hard to ignore around the Full Moon on the 10th. Some tensions are likely around the 18th, when a partner may feel left out or frustrated. Romantic surprises are likely around the 21-24, when electric Uranus shakes up the ruler of your partnership sector. Stronger days for love are the 2-5, 21-22, and 30-31.
