ErosScopes: June 2010 Love Horoscopes for Libra through Pisces

Horoscopes for the month ahead, with a focus on love, sex, romance, and style. Eros was the god of erotic love. The position of the asteroid Eros in our charts points to our passion and erotic turn-ons. Mars shows us the style in which we go after what we want, including the ways in which we express our sexuality. Venus shows us some of the important “trappings” and foreplay that help us get in the mood for sex. The Moon shows our underlying emotional needs that can express themselves as sexual fantasies and needs. While the positions of these planets and cosmic bodies in our natal charts remain static, their positions are always changing in the cosmos, activating houses and hotspots in our natal charts.

The horoscopes presented here are necessarily general, as we are focusing on only the Sun sign or Ascendant, and how these sexual cosmic bodies are currently affecting the natal chart. Please note: These horoscopes are more accurate for the Ascendant sign, so if you know it, read them for the sign of your Ascendant first, and the sign of your Sun second. Also, sometimes I have more to say for some signs, simply because more astrological activity is taking place that is related to relationships for that sign this month (or because I am digressing!). This does not mean I am biased towards any particular sign.

June 2010 ErosScopes – Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Libra

Sudden opportunities with or through a partner arise this month, dear Libra, particularly for those of you born very early in the sign (September 23-24). A surprising circumstance or sudden change of attitude can occur and jolt you out of your usual routine when it comes to relationships. Some of you might enter into a new partnership quickly, or meet a special someone with whom you have strong intellectual or communicative ties, and the desire to take it to the next level is consuming. Unusual, exciting, and perhaps erratic themes are likely to arise in your close relationships over the coming years, and this month and summer, you’ll get a little preview of how this energy might play out in your life. Conditions that you once accepted might begin to feel confining, and will need a major overhaul. Reinventing a relationship and/or your whole attitude towards commitment and partnership is in store. Endings may occur, but keep in mind that “one door closes and another door opens” applies to your life this year. This month, you are not as direct about your own motives and desires, but a partner is asserting his or her independence quite boldly. You might be feeling a little uneasy, particularly with all that is going on in your life beyond love, but try to embrace the exciting new energy in your life. Some of you will be taking a more casual relationship to a new level, perhaps impulsively. In general, June is a month in which you could be feeling insecure and perhaps fearful of the inner and outer changes in your life. However, change is essential now, and it’s best to leave yourself open to new experiences. Casual love relationships are especially exciting now. Some of you will be attracting people with strong Sagittarius or Jupiter in their charts into your life experience. After the 14th, the need for equality and pressure-free relating is strong–and a big turn-on. Better days for love in June are likely to be on the 9th and 14th. Minor annoyances or snags in your love life are more likely on the 2nd, 7-8, and 27th.

Scorpio

While June brings change and excitement to the lives of every sign of the zodiac, dear Scorpio, it’s likely to be a little quieter for you when it comes to your love life. Changes seem to be occurring primarily with your work and domestic life this month. Opposition or problems from a friend are possible from the 4-9th. Venus harmonizes with your Sun until the 14th, and stimulates the need for a bit of adventure and exploration in your love life. The exotic appeals to you now, and anything that feels monotonous or lifeless is a turn-off. Fortunately, you are not likely to get yourself into a rut now, and your partner will certainly appreciate your get-up-and-go. Your social agenda is busy this month, and work is grabbing a lot of your attention. After the 14th, you’ll have more opportunities than usual to socialize and connect with people through your work. A feeling of belonging is important to you now, as well as approval, in your love life. Sharing goals with a partner is especially important to you during this cycle. The Lunar Eclipse on the 26th brings events into your experience that highlight your need to change how you approach and communicate with the people around you in day-to-day life. Better days for love for you in June are likely to be the 7th, 9th, 15th, and 22nd. More challenging days for love are more likely to be June 2nd, 4th, 8th, 13-14, 17th, and 30th.

Sagittarius

Romance and partnership are strong for you this month, dear Sagittarius, and your personal magnetism gets a pleasing boost. Taking creative or romantic chances is likely. Your ruler, Jupiter, is aligning with electric Uranus in your romance sector this month. Both planets have also changed signs recently, from Pisces to Aries. Your ruler will be in the sign of Aries from June 6-September 8, and will return to finish its transit in 2011. So, you will be getting a taste of its fiery, independent side this summer–sort of a preview of times to come. Aries energy is not completely foreign to you, as your basic nature is fiery, assertive, and adventurous. However, Aries is more pioneering, independent, and single-minded. You are likely to feel that edge now, expressing much independence and initiative, and any special person in your life will notice it, too! Uranus’ influence this month is to jolt you completely out of any routine or rut you may have gotten yourself into in recent months and years. While this theme will continue for some years, from August until early 2011, things will quieten down again temporarily. Capricorn

June should be a pleasing month for close relationships, dear Capricorn, largely because your attitude towards others is cooperative. The goddess of love moves through your partnership sector until the 14th, and then your intimacy sector after the 14th. A lover is especially affectionate and into you this month, and you’re going to great lengths to please. Deeper, non-superficial expressions of love and intimacy are what appeal to you most right now. You’re more impressed with those who make an effort to understand what makes you tick. Your appeal lies in your willingness to share yourself. Fiery Mars enters fellow Earth sign, Virgo, on the 7th and will stay in the sign until close to the end of July. This means Mars is helping you out, endowing you with extra, mostly easy energy and the ability to assert yourself and your needs without hurting others’ feelings. This boost of natural confidence certainly adds to your attractiveness and boosts your mood as you feel “in sync” with your environment and the people in it. You also have a healthy spirit of adventure and are willing to take a few chances. A lunar eclipse occurs in the last week of the month in your sign. It’s a powerful eclipse, sort of like a super-charged Full Moon, that not only affects you in June–its energy sticks with you for a few months. A personal revelation of sorts is likely as some of the emotions that you’ve kept at bay come bursting forth into consciousness. Lunar eclipses always affect your close partnerships, as the eclipsed Moon rules your partnership sector. Aquarius

Your ruler, Uranus, is making headlines again this month, dear Aquarius, as it aligns with jovial Jupiter. Near the end of May, Uranus changed signs, from Pisces to Aries, and this brought, and continues to bring, a major shift in the ways you express yourself and approach the world. You are becoming more assertive and communicative. This month, you are feeling especially enthusiastic, creative, and generous. A new friend or group association may be part of the picture. Inspiration can be found now, and it’s likely to come through your conversations or communications with others. Wonderful energy for love relationships is with you this month as the Sun illuminates your romance sector until the 21st and brings your “inner child” out to play. You’re creative, playful, and perhaps a little flirtatious. You’re also more vocal about your affections, very able to find the right words to express yourself. Venus moves into your partnership sector on the 14th, and you’re more willing to listen and to please–something that especially helps to smooth over the differences that have been highlighted for far too long with combative Mars’ lengthy stay in the same sector, since October 2009. Pisces

Love opportunities continue to be strong this month, dear Pisces. Venus completes her transit through your romance sector on the 14th, and then the Sun enters it on the 21st, followed by Mercury on the 25th. When planets move through this sector of your chart, your more playful, creative, and expressive side is highlighted. Others tend to appreciate you and take notice. It’s easier to find like-minded people and to enjoy yourself. Mars enters your partnership sector on the 7th and will move through it until July 29th. This energy can play out in a variety of ways. Some of you will find a partner is more assertive or even combative, or you could be expressing these traits in partnership. Problems and differences are highlighted and can’t be ignored. This can mean facing issues head-on and resolving conflicts directly and quickly, which certainly helps to clear the air. Some of you will find a partnership simply picks up pace, becoming more dynamic, exciting, and spontaneous. With your partnership ruler, Mercury, moving forward quickly again, all signs seem to point to a fast-paced and stimulating love experience this month.
