ErosScopes: February 2010 Love Horoscopes for Libra through Pisces

Eros was the god of erotic love. The position of the asteroid Eros in our charts points to our passion and erotic turn-ons. Mars shows us the style in which we go after what we want, including the ways in which we express our sexuality. Venus shows us some of the important “trappings” and foreplay that help us get in the mood for sex. The Moon shows our underlying emotional needs that can express themselves as sexual fantasies and needs.

While the positions of these planets and cosmic bodies in our natal charts remain static, their positions are always changing in the cosmos, activating houses and hotspots in our natal charts. The horoscopes presented here are necessarily general, as we are focusing on only the Sun sign or Ascendant, and how these sexual cosmic bodies are currently affecting the natal chart.

Also, sometimes I have more to say for some signs, simply because more astrological activity is taking place that is related to relationships for that sign this month (or because I am digressing!). This does not mean I am biased towards any particular sign.

February 2010 ErosScopes – Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Libra

As your ruler, Venus assumes special importance in your chart, dear Libra, and until February 11th, the goddess of love herself continues to move through your romance and pleasure sector. This is a very nice position, bringing with it the desire to indulge in pleasure, an easy and flowing charm, and creative energy to boot. The Sun is also putting a spotlight on this sector of your chart until the 18th, and there is all the more reason to enjoy yourself. It’s easier to attract what and who you want into your life now. The New Moon on the 15th brings you fresh creative and romantic energy. Some of you will be boosting or beginning a romance during this Moon cycle, which runs until mid-March. Mars, the ruler of your partnership sector, remains retrograde this month, and will continue to travel in this apparent backwards motion until March 10th. Some unusual or mixed signals can be coming from a partner or partnership under this influence. Friendships may be complicated as well. If you find that you’re only going through the motions, let time pass before making any decisions. When Venus enters Pisces on the 11th, she also enters your house of work, health, and routines. This can mean a subtle shift in your focus to more practical matters, but the fun doesn’t have to end by all means. With Mercury in your romance sector from the 10-28, you love to talk about love, and you express yourself with very attractive flair. Relationships on the job are excellent in February, and the 15-18 is especially good for negotiating and mending any interpersonal problems you may have had recently. Keep your eye out for deception or self-deception. Better days for love in February are likely to be on the 7-8 and 18th. More challenging days for love are possible on the 14th and 24th.

Scorpio

February brings mostly pleasing energy into your life, dear Scorpio. Complications on the job or with your reputation do continue this month, but your mood is eager and expressive. Mercury transiting your fourth house from the 10th suggests that you’re more willing to open up and discuss personal matters with someone special. Just a day later, Venus enters your romance sector, beginning a very creative and romantic period that lasts through to March 7th. This transit boosts your appeal and lifts your spirits; and, because Venus rules your partnership sector, points to a romantic time with a special someone. Cosmic bodies moving through Pisces always boost your spirits and encourage you to express yourself creatively. The Sun’s entrance into Pisces on the 18th brings more of this pleasing energy. Another clear indication that February’s energies are mostly mood-lifters for you is a harmonious sextile between Jupiter and your ruler, Pluto. While this is good for money matters for some of you, it also brings better moods and confidence. Mid-month is an excellent period for having fun with a current lover or meeting a new love interest–more specifically, the 15-18. Sagittarius

February is unlikely to be a headliner for love matters for you, dear Sagittarius. It’s a fairly busy month with plenty of activity in your solar third house. This house rules errands, communications, learning, studies, transportation, short trips, and neighbors, and some or all of these things are in strong focus this month. Partnerships really benefit from Mercury’s transit through your third house from February 10th forward. This is an excellent time for learning about each other and talking things through in a light-hearted way. You are unlikely to touch upon the deeper issues now, but there will be a better time for that later. For now, enjoy light conversation and cheerful moments. Mars continues to retrograde, and Mars is the ruler of your romance and pleasure sector. This has been in effect since late last year and will continue until at least March 10th. Because Mars is harmonizing with your own sign, I can’t see this as an especially challenging transit for you. Instead, the introspection on the part of you or a lover feels healthy. If a romance is moving slowly, be as patient as you can. It’s moving slowly or encountering delays for good reason. There will be plenty of time to move it forward at a later date. Venus enters Pisces and your soulful fourth house on the 11th, and this brings warm, personal, and comfortable energy into your love life. Quiet activities appeal most to you now. More harmonious days for love for you this month are likely to be February 16-18 and 21st; while February 1st, 10th, 13-14, and 24th are expected to be a little more challenging.

Capricorn

You are paying a lot of attention to practical, security, and comfort matters in the first half of the month, dear Capricorn. You are more inclined to play it safe, and this includes with your affections. The power of words to stimulate is most apparent from the 11th forward, when Venus begins transiting your communications sector. Lighthearted and playful conversation appeals the most for you now. Eros enters fellow Earth sign, Taurus, and your romance sector on the 18th, and will stay in this very playful and expressive sector of your chart until March 25th. Your powers of attraction run very high during this cycle, but more in terms of you going after what you want than waiting for things to come to you. Sexual activity may be more frequent than usual. You are more expressive in love matters now, and others enjoy your playful manner. February is likely to be a very flirtatious month for you. Pay close attention to the communications you have from the 15-18, when you could meet someone special through various communication mediums, such as email or the phone, or you could have a very important conversation with a love interest. Aquarius

While relationship complications are still part of your life, dear Aquarius, those of you involved in casual relationships are finding many opportunities to enjoy yourselves in February and singles are not lacking for attention, either. Venus continues to grace your sign until the 11th, and your powers of attraction run very high. Just before Venus leaves your sign, Mercury enters it (on the 10th) and stays in your sign until March 1st. This not only means you are more communicative and open about your personal plans, it can also bring love and fun to your life because Mercury rules your romance and pleasure sector. A lover is likely to have your best interests at heart during this cycle. Opportunities to enjoy yourself arise more often. It also points to a stronger need for creative expression. Mars continues to retrograde in your partnership sector, and this does continue to point to introspection and/or a lack of enthusiasm in a partnership. Mid-month is a powerful period for feeling a sense of inner renewal and for hopefulness in general. A New Moon occurs in your sign on the 13th, and it aligns with spiritual Neptune and regenerative Chiron. Pisces

The first half of February finds you, for the most part, introspective and retired. This is a natural cycle for you as many planets occupy your solar twelfth house. You require a little more rest and time to come to conclusions as well. The 6-8 is good for finding a stronger sense of self and a deep feeling of purposefulness, as well as for love in private. Whether it’s sharing private moments with a lover, or experiencing joy through anonymous giving or sacrifice for a special someone, it’s an excellent period for feeling love from the inside out. You receive good news and vibes on the 13-14, and a partner has a revelation of sorts on the 28th, when a Full Moon in your partnership sector brings illumination to an important relationship. Sometimes this involves some sort of drama that makes you feel uneasy at first, but that is ultimately important, illuminating, and necessary for further growth in your interactions. Eros moving into your communications sector from the 18th forward and through most of March can mean that your style of communication boosts your magnetic powers, or it can suggest that erotic talk works wonders for you.
