ErosScopes: February 2010 Love Horoscopes for Aries through Virgo

Mars shows us the style in which we go after what we want, including the ways in which we express our sexuality. Venus shows us some of the important “trappings” and foreplay that help us get in the mood for sex. The Moon shows our underlying emotional needs that can express themselves as sexual fantasies and needs.

While the positions of these planets and cosmic bodies in our natal charts remain static, their positions are always changing in the cosmos, activating houses and hotspots in our natal charts. The horoscopes presented here are necessarily general, as we are focusing on only the Sun sign or Ascendant, and how these sexual cosmic bodies are currently affecting the natal chart.

Also, sometimes I have more to say for some signs, simply because more astrological activity is taking place that is related to relationships for that sign this month (or because I am digressing!). This does not mean I am biased towards any particular sign.

February 2010 ErosScopes – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo

Aries

February begins with very sociable and easygoing love energy for you, dear Aries. Mars, your fiery ruler, continues to retrograde (until March 10th, 2010). Special care should be taken during this cycle, and in the weeks surrounding it. Assertive Mars is in your romance and pleasure sector for an extended stay. During its retrograde cycle, many of you will be redefining what it is exactly that feeds your flame, that ignites your passions, and truly turns you on. You will have some help discovering some of this with Eros in your very dynamic sign until the 18th. You may be rethinking things and a lover might be confused by your considerably less straightforward approach or withdrawal. It’s a good time for examining how you assert your needs, and probably more so your wants, when it comes to love, as well as for taking a look at just how much pride helps or hinders your love relationships. Some of you might feel like you are going through the motions in love, but it’s more likely that you are temporarily detaching yourself in order to examine your love life more closely. Really strive to take this time to re-assess your romantic life now, but avoid making decisions if you can until at the very least March and preferably April. Venus enters dreamy Pisces and your privacy sector on the 11th, and the Sun, another romantic indicator in your chart, follows suit on the 18th, just when Eros leaves your sign. This signals some down time in your love life. Some sacrifice might be attached to loving during this cycle. Again, review of your romantic life is indicated. Overall, we are looking at a fairly easy month energy-wise, but one in which you are a little withdrawn or aloof with your affections. Better days for love are the 7, 15, 18, 23, 25, and 27-28; more challenging ones are likely on the 2-3 and 24th.

Taurus

A busy and productive month is in store for you in February, dear Taurus. Friends are supportive and easily made. Practicality assumes much importance in your romantic life, but so does the spirit of true friendship and camaraderie. You don’t want to feel tied down, but aren’t running scared either. More and more these days you are seeing the value of allowing a lover space and freedom, and hoping for the same treatment in return. Shared goals especially appeal to you. A lot is happening in your professional life this month, and although you are perfectly capable of handling that aspect of your life, a lover or partner who takes interest will win the most respect from you right now. The 15-18 are stellar days for you in general. These are good days for financials, career, intimacy, friendship, and partnerships. A partner is in a particularly good position from the 3-7. You are still dealing with a retrograde Mars square to your Sun in February, however, which might require some adjustments and rearrangements on the home front. You are learning that pushing things forward simply won’t work for you these days, and also how to better deal with anger and frustration with family. Eros, the god of erotic love, however, enters your sign on February 18th and will stay until March 25th, which boosts your desire and appeal. The 27-28 is excellent for epiphanies and higher levels of understanding in love. Better days for love overall are likely to be February 6-7, 15-18, and 27th, while more challenging days could be the 2nd, 12-14, and 23-24.

Gemini

You continue to enjoy easy energy in your romantic life as you begin February, dear Gemini. Love doesn’t seem to be coming at a price. Rather, you are simply enjoying your romantic position (whether or not you are partnered). By the 11th, Venus entering your tenth house and aligning with Jupiter at the top of your chart shortly thereafter brings more responsibility or attention to your love life. It’s a good position, and a very public one as well. You are noticeable for your charm and grace, as well as your sense of responsibility. Any relationships begun now are likely to either happen through work or have a responsible or even business-like quality to them. Some of you will be mixing business with pleasure quite artfully in February. An office romance is a possibility, but for most of you, pleasure and business are combined now. The 3-7 is an especially strong period for enhancing or attracting a partnership, or simply a very good period for a partner him or herself. You stand to learn a whole lot from love on the 12-15. Support is there when you need it. Reliability is increasingly becoming an aphrodisiac for you these days! Love has been tricky for you recently, dear Cancer, and continues to baffle you a little in February. The 3-7 is excellent, however, for romantic fun if you are so inclined. Playfulness in love dominates now, and anything that pulls you and a partner out of monotony can truly help boost the energy in your relationship. Singles might also find more opportunities to enjoy themselves or meet interesting people if they take the time remove themselves from the regular routine. The chance to have some adventurous fun, however, can help take your mind off your troubles. While February might begin on a more serious or contemplative note for many of you, an adventurous and bolder spirit take hold as the month moves forward. The New Moon on the 15th brings a feeling of regeneration and the idea that there’s very little that you can’t handle. Some of you will have opportunities for higher learning, travel, or other mind-expanding experiences in the second half of the month. From the 11th forward, love is most rewarding if you are expressing and emphasizing your adventurous, philosophical, optimistic, and brave side. Leo

While February may not find you at your most energetic, it may very well find you at your most congenial and compromising. With the very rational and logical planet Mercury moving through your partnership sector from the 10th forward, you could find that ironing out differences with a partner is easier than usual, simply because nobody’s letting emotions run away with themselves. You are cool-headed and are using the right words at the right time with this transit. Venus brings charm and a great need for harmony to your close partnerships until the 11th, and then moves into your intimacy and sharing sector for the remainder of the month. Expressing and emphasizing your quiet appeal and magnetism, mysterious manner, and intensity bring the most positive love energy during this cycle.
