ErosScopes: December 2010 Love Horoscopes for Libra to Pisces

Horoscopes for the month ahead, with a focus on love, sex, romance, and style. Eros was the god of erotic love. Also, sometimes I have more to say for some signs, simply because more astrological activity is taking place that is related to relationships for that sign this month (or because I am digressing!). December 2010 ErosScopes – Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Libra

Again this month, you are valuing familiarity and security in your love life, perhaps more so than in November, dear Libra. Taking risks with your heart isn’t on the agenda in December. Changes of plans or activities with a partner would be considered upsetting or confusing. Fortunately, a partner is also valuing stability and quiet, familiar activities. Your romantic life becomes clearer after the 5th, when you have a better idea where you stand. As Venus, your ruler, regains speed this month, you gain more confidence in yourself. With Mars in challenging aspect to your sign from the 7th forward, you may want to watch for a defensive manner that can push others away even if you don’t intend to do so. With love planets emphasizing the elements Earth and Water this month, December may not be the smoothest or happiest of times for love, but it’s not expected to be an especially challenging period for you either. However, the 12-14th can be a period of difficult decision-making for or with a partner. Stronger days for love, romance, and attraction are more likely on December 5th and 27th, while the 3rd, 12-14th, 18th, and 23rd can bring minor disappointments or conflicts.

Scorpio

With Venus moving through your sign in direct motion all month, dear Scorpio, your powers of attraction are strong. A partner is very interested and more expressive of affection for you, and the relationship is moving forward. You’re now sending out the right “signals”, your manner makes you more approachable and easier to get along with. All love planets are moving in direct motion with Uranus in your romance sector turning direct on the 5th. You’ve been more experimental and open with your feelings this past year, and you feel good about it, knowing you’ve learned a lot through your experiences. The desire to live life to its fullest and to be free to love in your own unique way has been powerful. Through experimenting with loosening the typical “rules” of dating and pursuing happiness, you may have learned that love without definition doesn’t always last. From the 7th, Mars moves in harmony with your sign, energizing your communications sector, keeping you mentally alert and enhancing your attractiveness further. The last week of December can bring to light an intimate matter that’s been brewing for some time. Stronger days for love, romance, and attraction are more likely on December 2-3rd, 8th, and 13th, while the 22-23 and 28th can bring minor disappointments or conflicts.

Sagittarius

Mars continues to march through your sign, dear Sagittarius, until the 7th, and Eros until the 14th, and during this period, your personal impact and sexual magnetism are strong. Romantic opportunities tend to find you with the ruler of your romance sector in your first house. After the 7th, things tend to become quieter. The 10-30th is a retrograde period for Mercury, and all Mercury retrograde periods tend to affect your close partnerships, such as marriages or other commitments. Occurring in your sign for part of the time, a partner is likely to have your attention and is very interested in your needs, but it’s a time of review rather than a period of moving forward directly. From the 12-14th, your partnership ruler hangs out with Mars, Pluto, and the North Node in your values sector, pointing to potential difficulties with differences in basic values, including finances. Something has to change. The 21st brings a Lunar Eclipse – a very powerful Full Moon – in your partnership sector. Something comes to light about you or a partner now, or there can be an important culmination in a relationship. Emotions are heightened. Capricorn

Fiery, go-getting Mars enters your sign on the 7th of December, dear Capricorn, and you’ll find you have more energy, power, and confidence as a result. You’re taking the lead and feel very much in charge of your life. From the 10th, however, Mercury retrogrades in your sign, and the Sun spends time in your solar twelfth house. The combination of these influences can make for a manner that is not very approachable, and perhaps even a little intimidating. However, Venus in your eleventh house all month helps endear you to others. It’s a good influence for networking. Just keep in mind that even though you are feeling passionate and energetic, others can sometimes find you aloof or lacking in warmth. The 12-14 can bring serious thought and possibly a difficult decision. The need to reinvent yourself is very strong. The areas of life that are emphasized when it comes to love relationships include friendships, group settings, and team work. Love interests can be found amongst or through acquaintances. Romantic relationships are moving forward. In the days surrounding the Lunar Eclipse on the 21st, there can be some drama or illumination of relationship matters. Better days for love and attraction are likely to be December 3rd, 7th, and 19th; while complications are more probable on the 23rd and 29th.

Aquarius

The earth/water emphasis of the love planets this month might find you feeling out of your element to some degree, dear Aquarius. Mercury’s retrograde from the 10-30th as well as the Lunar Eclipse on the 21st can bring some drama to a romance – generally in the form of what seems to be a final answer of sorts on an ongoing problem. It’s a time to absorb and take in rather than to act decisively, so take your time with whatever surfaces now. Friendships, group or team involvement, and career are emphasized when it comes to love relationships in December, and these are areas where you’re more likely to find opportunities to attract or enhance love. Keeping things light and open, using sensitivity when dealing with loved ones, and showing tolerance and acceptance are recommended for maximum success in your love life in December. Your focus in general tends to be pulled towards the past this month, and also away from the material world and towards more spiritual matters, as you’re not feeling ready to move forward. December 1st, 5th, and 10th are potentially stronger days for love, romance, and attraction, while the 18-21st may bring some complications.

Pisces

With assertive Mars entering earthy Capricorn, a sign that is “friendly” with yours, on the 7th, your overall approach to life is easier to digest and you’ll find that your powers of attraction approve subtly as a result this month, dear Pisces. You’re also more able to ask for what you want, and receive it. Venus in fellow Water sign, Scorpio, all month and until January 7th also helps your cause considerably – you are approachable and coming across smoothly. Emphasis this month is on seeking out learning experiences, friendships, group or team involvement, and career, and these are arenas in which love is more likely to be found or strengthened. Last month we saw Jupiter turning direct in your sign, and Uranus follows suit this month. Both planets will be finishing up their transits of your sign in the coming months, and you are feeling stronger, more optimistic, and prouder of the changes you’ve made in your life in recent years, as well as the personal risks you’ve taken (which were many!). Mercury’s retrograde period from the 10-30th could put some strain on a close partnership, and the Lunar Eclipse on the 21st can place some stress on a romantic relationship. However, all of this is quite manageable with some sensitivity, which is your forte after all. Stronger days for love and attraction in December are likely on the 1st, 10th, and 21st, while the 16th and 19th can be a little more problematic.
