As I mentioned in the August ErosScopes, August 25-26th is a potentially volatile period. We have three planets changing signs: Venus, Mercury, and Mars. Venus is stimulating last month’s Solar Eclipse degree and joining with the South Node of the Moon, Mars opposes Pluto, and Mercury squares both Mars and Pluto.
When planets are changing signs, if we haven’t used the cycle well, we can jump to conclusions and decisions quite impulsively. Sometimes we’ll be deliberating over something and, with the energy shift of a planet changing signs, we might make a snap decision in the opposite direction of what we’ve been leaning towards. We have three personal planets changing signs within a very short time frame, and the initial feelings of these shifts might be confusion, defiance, or tension. It’s probably wise to hold off on major decision making until we’re in a calmer frame of mind.
With Venus conjunct the South Node and stimulating last month’s powerful Solar Eclipse, some of us could encounter a lover from our past or experience a meeting with someone that has a fated quality to it; but many of us will revisit issues from our past through our relationships and contacts. This is a time when we may examine our love relationships in terms of how they might be holding us back from personal growth. Again, it’s probably better to observe rather than act, and let things absorb. However, the T-square occurs in the first degree of cardinal signs, demanding some form of action. It may very well provide the impetus for making needed changes, but care should be taken as it is a very volatile combination. With Mercury-Mars-Pluto, we can quite stubbornly cling to our own ideas and attempt to force them upon others, while not truly seeing, or at least listening to, others’ points of view. It’s not only a “you’re wrong!” type of energy, it also has a “this is how you should think!” attitude. Mercury with Mars can be over-zealous; Pluto adds compulsion and a desire to force-feed to the mix. Communications are likely to be in absolutes. It’s a tense, mind-racing, fixated, stressed out energy. We’re also a little more accident-prone (physically and socially!). It’s a good time to observe what this T-square pulls up from inside of ourselves.

what is it with this damn planet shift?
my boyfriend (libra/ venus in scorpio) of two years broke up with me (taurus/ venus in gemini) yesterday. to me everything seemed to evolve just right, i felt so connected even though we had a few issues. i never thought he would just leave me hanging. he said that he needs to find himself first, that he has his own issues he has to solve before he can commit. your article on this period fits perfectly. i just dont understand why we cant get through this time together, why he feels that we have to break up in order to move forwards. i am devastated. maybe you can add something on this period or our signs specifically. it would be very much appreciated.

I did all of what is written, made an impulsive decition, that lead me exactly to the opposite way where I was leaning for few months. me (leo/venus in libra) he (taurus /venus in aries) We were dating for a while and I decided not to date him anymore, even though I did want to move fwd and get serious in a relationship but he just didnt seem to want the same thing.
This is interesting! I had a period with collaboration on hanging an art exhibition during these days. Normally one need a lot of concentration and good teamwork to get this thing done well. Usually I like this kind of challenge, and I love to work with other people. But the days mentioned…it was really hard. It was all kinds of uneasy feelings, insecurity and strugglesome communication going on….It really made me lost! And I thought; what is this all about? Well maybe the answer was in the sky!
If I had known about this earlier, I’d have stayed home on Wednesday. But I cannot live my life based on these things.
Sadly we clashed on Wednesday night/early Thursday and now he went from hot to cold. Things happened just the way you explained them here.
